MB1 HOUSE

About

MB1 House is shaped through a rich dialogue between dark walnut, expressive stone, softened textiles, and warm metallic details. The interior carries a grounded residential atmosphere, balancing architectural strength with tactile comfort.

The design focuses on depth, rhythm, and material presence. Curved timber forms, integrated joinery, layered lighting, and sculptural furniture create a home that feels composed, intimate, and lived in without becoming overly decorative.

Natural light softens the darker palette, allowing stone, timber, leather, and textile surfaces to shift throughout the day.

The kitchen is designed as a central social space, combining daily function with a strong material identity. Dark timber cabinetry and dramatic stone surfaces create depth and visual weight, while handmade cream tiles introduce softness and reflection.

Arched joinery, ribbed glass, brass details, and integrated shelving add rhythm to the space. The island supports cooking, gathering, and informal moments, making the kitchen both practical and atmospheric.

The living and dining areas are connected through warmth, texture, and visual continuity. Full-height glazing brings natural light into the space, while the darker joinery frames the architecture with a sense of depth and structure.

Sculptural furniture, soft upholstery, layered rugs, bronze-toned artwork, and pendant lighting create a calm residential environment where comfort and architectural clarity work together.
