At Hazel Ozrenk Studio, FF&E selection is part of the project from the earliest design stages. It is not treated as a final styling exercise, but as a continuation of the architectural and interior language.

We are drawn to pieces with sculptural clarity, softened silhouettes, tactile materials, and a certain sense of restraint. Objects are selected for the way they hold weight within a space, how they respond to light, and how they contribute to the emotional character of the interior.

For MB1 House, the direction explored a darker and more grounded residential palette. Walnut, smoked stone, brushed metals, and textured upholstery were brought together to create an environment that feels calm, warm, and architecturally composed.

For MB1 House, the FF&E direction explores a warmer and more grounded residential atmosphere shaped through contrast, material depth, and sculptural restraint.

The selection process focused on pieces that feel integrated into the architecture rather than placed within it. Soft upholstery, dark walnut tones, smoked stone, brushed metals, and tactile textiles were brought together to create a quieter and more composed spatial language throughout the project.

Rather than relying on statement objects, the direction prioritised balance, silhouette, texture, and proportion. Each selection was considered through the way it contributes to the rhythm of the interior and the overall emotional quality of the space.
